Hmm. But to be even clearer on my point: whatever poor or just ok coverage NYC Florida, maybe LI area, Westchester have, out of state has far worse or nothing. Yet we are all retirees from the same system. Some are penalized though. Same as there was the "how dare you" for retro pay to those who left through retirement or otherwise back when.
The people who were really screwed were those who resigned or were fired. They got nothing. Retirees did get retro, and had an opportunity to get it at once if they left that year. A friend of mind bought a car. Real Medicare is good everywhere in the United States. MA is problematic, as is GHI.
I gladly stand corrected on the retro for retirees point! And yes, under 65 out-of-state coverage is problematic, like the dental. Traditional Medicare plus the Medigap works everywhere for 65plus one of many reasons we fight so hard to keep it.
As always, this one will be shared on the platforms that our younger in service members seem to enjoy the most. There’s always a Unity troll/plant on those platforms, waiting to pounce. They eventually grow tired of my fact filled retorts, along with my diction (my pocket thesaurus is apparently hurtful, LOL). One such troll referred to one of my responses with, “That’s some Word Wall you have there.” I took that as a compliment, as opposed to an insult. Keep doing what you do best, Arthur — dismantling Unity, piece by duplicitous piece.
Thank you for coming out against all the recent allegations we've been recently hearing, I was waiting to hear from you :)
The point you make about nothing ever being Mulgrew's fault reminded me of another "leader" we've been dealing with for the last two months
There's a lot of that about. Thanks for your kind comment, Caroline.
Brilliant and fearless. Thank you brother Arthur. Again.
Thanks for your kind words, my friend.
Thank you Arthur!
You're welcome Patricia, and thanks for spreading the word!
And here's another: If you think that only retirees living in NYC and Florida matter...
Good point. We need real Medicare, 100%.
Dental improvements that actually are too
I visited an oral surgeon today, and that was one of the things that occurred to me.

Thanks Mike. I always appreciate your comments. The whole trolling thing is important when you haven't got an actual record you want to face up to.
Another excellent piece. Thank you, Arthur.
Thanks Marcia.
Thank you for being a voice for the membership and for speaking the truth always.
Thanks Kara.
