WOW your explanation of the inner workings of the UFT is far more info than I ever wanted to know. But the similarities of the MM unity machine and what’s happening in Washington are eerily striking. Unfortunately it appears that this model seems to be filtering down to other states, local organizations and politics in local schools. The question is , if there is ultimately a backlash and collapse in that movement nationally, will it trickle down to the same kind of rejection in local politics in communities and our own union?

There are certainly a lot of us who don't care for us. They won by the lowest margin ever. If our friends in ARISE are interested, which is an open question, we can beat them. I have reached out and heard very little back.

If you haven’t heard back , that’s your answer 🤨

Mulgrew and Trump are definitely systemic twins both are horribly wrong and unfit for those they're supposed to serve!!

No argument here.

Great analysis - My thoughts exactly. I used to post that Putin used Unity as a model. Trump follows suit.

Putin had a great week. He showed up, gave nothing, and managed to appear to care to some, at least. Kind of like how Cuomo dealt with Mulgrew.

Trump is alcohol abstinent. His older brother, Fred, died, young, of acute alcohol effects. His family also abstain. But, yes, you’ve got Mulgrew’s number.

Please, please, demand lowered volume of mikes at meets. Bludgeoned eardrums, especially by Sandy and Mulgrew, keep us “Dazed and Confused.”

Actually, Trump's glass is full of ivermectin.

Ultimately it may not be. After all, it's an anti-parasitic.

Dana Ohlmeyer's avatar

Oh-oh, since he’s the parasite, self-medication?

He may not see it that way, so let's not clue him in.
