I really didn’t do much but give you all access to our platform of retirees to share your message. You did the work… we let you shine.

We also worked as a community to expose the lies. Truth is power. Congratulations. Make us all proud and carry it forward! #RetiredLaborStrong!

It's true you did that, but I was referring to all you did before I even knew who you were. In fact, while I was always wary of Joe Namath and his ilk, I had little idea how much Mulgrew misrepresented his plan at first. Little by little, I saw the light. It's clear our union brothers and sisters are seeing it too.

What a great win!! THANKS for your meticulous passionate writing Arthur, to our steadfast new Chapter Leader Bennett, to such a high caliber, dedicated Retiree Advocate Team and our dear, always-ready, encyclopedic, union-true Marianne Pizzitola. More work ahead - but hail to such a coalition! for yanking Unity's deadly stranglehold off our necks!!

Thanks Laura. It will be great to have meetings where we discuss union matters, rather than ones with Tom Murphy doing his damndest to pretend they aren't happening.

Congratulations on this spectacular win! Teachers are such a value to our society and lives in general. They take our children under their care on a daily basis and open their minds to a bigger and better world through each and every phase of their lives! We all owe teachers working today and retired our sincere gratitude. To have a self centered individual like Mulgrew attempt to pull out the rug from under retired current and future teachers was abominable. It is my privilege to have helped in any small way to oust the detrimental Unity group. It was without a doubt all of you and the incredible force of nature, Marianne Pizzitola who deserve all the credit for your solidarity and hard work. I’m truly happy and honored the Retiree Advocate will be among the greatest of partners with the organization of Retired Public Service for benefit preservation group. All retirees deserve the promise made and the respect of the current Mayor and future Mayors. I think you are right not only about next year’s election of a new Union leader but also new seats on the City Council for their misrepresentation of retired public groups. A Union motto is still “one for all and all for one” thank you for being determined, informative, steadfast and amazing!

Congratulations. All your hard work over the years paid off. Along with Marianne's incredible leadership and perseverance you have won a victory for all of us. With your help we will force AFSCME and DC37 to remove its undemocratic trusteeship which has been in effect for 115 days. Together we can win. Medicare Advantage will be defeated. It is an abomination. Once again thank you and all the members of Retiree Advocate. You have certainly changed the dynamics in the NYC labor movement.

Thanks Ray. When union does good work, there's a ripple effect. Someone should teach these bosses what union is for. Maybe us.

Finally! We tried to unseat Unity in the 80’s came close. It’s way past time for the UFT to represent ALL members. Nice that my fellow retired members led that charge!

Why did we receive Anthem hospital senior care cards to replace EmblemHealth? This is an advantage program. How could this have happened?

I believe it was in place of Empire Blue Cross, whose name has changed. I don't think it has any other significance. Your number and coverage are the same.
