The UFT members should file a class action against Mulgrew for theft of services.

I don't know whether or not that's viable, but I do know these folks know only one dance and are unwilling to learn a new one. I am consistently amazed that they believe we buy this nonsense.

Arthur, a class action is not viable but a class action vote to vote Mulgrew and Unity out is.

Not only that, but it's coming up in a few short months!

Mulgrew understands that paras vote is extremely important. He also knows that they're more paras to teachers in my opinion and so now he's trying to appeal to their pockets by promising this NEW $10,000 yearly bonus pay. Why hasn't he fought for such things during our contract negotiations? Mulgrew is a snake in the grass! He's a politician at heart, and he knows many people fall for his B.S. and fake speeches. He feels this will get the Paras out there to make sure he once again win the game! I pray that people will wake up and NOT vote him in again😢

He actually had enough money to enact this contractually. In any case, I won't be voting for him either.

Thank you.

You're very welcome!

Arthur you should always start your essays either… As a proud Union member aligned to vote Mulgrew & Unity crew out! They are bullies and bullshit artists with their revisionist history.

I'm honestly surprised at their shallow and transparent arguments.

Mulgrew’s nonsense is that 1096 usurps collective bargaining so why did he propose amending 12.126 of the administrative code? Wasn’t that usurping collective bargaining?

What about pensions which are decided by the legislature, is that usurping collective bargaining,

Could his very smart people explain at the next Delegate Assembly.

If Mulgrew opposes Medicare Advantage, why can’t his very smart lawyers which are paid by UFT dues, file an amendment to the amicus brief simply stating as a friend of the court that the UFT opposes imposing MedicareAdvantage for its members because the City promised them traditional Medicare and Medicare supplement at no cost to them and their dependents which they relied on when they worked for City salaries which were lower than private sector salaries. The amicus brief does not have to address the other issues raised by the New York Retirees and his very smart lawyers know that if he doesn’t.

Could Mulgrew address that at the next Delegate Assembly?

I couldn't agree more, Keith. But my advice is sit while waiting for Mulgrew to say any such thing.

Keep fighting the good fight through print. Mulgrew/Unity get so angry at your truths presented! Mulgrew has been able to fool and trick so many with his fake smiles, promises, and conferences filled with more fake-Ness aka Fake news! Glad we have people like you calling out his bull crap!

Thanks for your kind words, Lisa.
