Thank you so much! I’m a member of Marianne’s group, and have been so from the start. I continue to make contributions to them.
Back during the last UFT election, I implored people not to vote for Unity, and was made fun of. But I hope no one makes fun of me this time. I’m with you guys all the way!
I liked this as a change. It is a bit long, but full of important information. One thing about written comments is you can go back very easily reread them. Harder to do with video. Thank you Arthur for your entertaining and pointed PowerPoint.
This format is engaging and well-organized. I can listen to it as I travel which is great. As an alternative, it may be good to have short segments (10 min) for each topic of discussion rather than a 30 min segment. Example: effective leadership vs poor leadership (10 min); healthcare (10 min), etc.
Thank YOU for looking for more effective ways to keep us in the loop and engaged. Frankly, I didn’t have time to read the emails but I can listen to this on the subway and anywhere.
Non-partisan. Arthur—you lost me there. “…We will be non-partisan…”. ABC, really??
Political machines is not the point. We had Bloomberg, dyed in the wool Repugnant, dye himself Democrat, destroy community school structures, throw homeless kids back on the streets…and we al did not throw ourselves on the barricades, with a passive UFT.
ABC sounds petty and jealous—no one asked you to come aboard for leadership, so this is the wounded ego’s revenge?
Well, I suppose if by non-partisan we were saying we take positions on absolutely nothing, that would be a fair point. Just days ago I gave three examples of candidates who ran as Democrats, Bloomberg included, who did us harm. They would not receive endorsements from us.
You're free to disagree. Kindly refrain from name-calling in this space.
Well done. I enjoyed the visuals and the important information. Unfortunately, this format really won't work for me on a regular basis. It took too long. Thank you for doing such important work for teachers and retirees.
Arthur, thanks as always for telling it as it is. Interesting, informative new format. I imagine this took a lot more time to put together than it took to watch.
I did not quite understand what you were referring to at the 14 to 15 minute mark, about only a handful of people being able to vote and 287 folks not being able to do so. I’m in that 287, but I think I must be missing something.
Keep it up, Arthur!! Looking forward to future segments.
Thanks for your kind words Carlos. And thanks for watching as well. There are 300 delegates who were elected in last May's election. 11 people decided to align RA in the upcoming UFT election with a group called Arise, but did not see fit to include us in the decision.
Well delivered “lesson”! It is a multi-dimensional, complicated issue(s) re our union & our health care, thus can’t be condensed with brevity. This is visual & breaks it down in a comprehensive manner.

ABC all the way! 👏🏻👍✅
Thanks for your kind words Ellen. And ignore the trolls. If you're a leader, they'll always come after you. It comes with the territory.

Thanks I'm glad you like it. Lots of people are saying the opposite.
Great suggestion
Nice job Arthur (as usual).

A for effort in trying out new technology. However, it's too long for me to listen. I can read your articles in less time.🫤
Sorry you don't like it. Maybe others will. We're all different.
