Absolutely. We need to prevail here. We're fighting for our lives. Marianne's most recent video shows how Unity sent five of its big shots to testify that they needed real Medicare, and that the Advantage scheme was just NOT GOOD ENOUGH for them. Unlike most NYC retirees, they could afford the upcharge.
Regardless, if it's not good enough for them, it's not good enough for anyone.
I don't know much about her, but UFT just endorsed Michah Lasher, who spearheaded Students First NY, big charter, anti-public school group. He worked for Bloomberg, helped push Tier 6, and trashed UFT in the Daily News. Up is down in Mulgrew World, and he must go. First step is to vote for Retiree Advocate.
