Running scared after the retirees election I guess We can’t forget who started this whole mess

Absolutely not. That's exactly what they're hoping for.

I guess he underestimated the retirees!

He sure did. And you can bet, without our victory, this would NOT be the message.

Good news except Mulgrew cares not at all about retirees. He’s only concerned with keeping Unity in charge of UFT. He was spooked by the recent vote in which the retirees slate won!

I couldn't agree more. We must and shall remain vigilant.

When you are winning the war, it's no time to quit. We want the MLC to completely drop Aetna and any similar HMO scheme for the actives. We want Ted Seidle to do an audit of the pensions.

"When you are winning the war, it's no time to quit." I LOVE that line.

Mulgrew can’t be trusted and neither can Randi AFT. He’s certainly not a leader for other Union Bosses to follow. He still needs to repay a billion dollars he took frin from the Stabilization Fund. Stay the course. All hands on deck. Be ready to protect what was just achieved by Retiree Advocate’s win. 💪🏽

This move was surely orchestrated by Weingarten in an effort to save Mulgrew’s ass and position. Randi will throw Mulgrew under the bus if she deems it better for her optics.

Randi is certainly the smarter of the two, and I can certainly imagine her pushing this.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. This entire Medicare Advantage Mess would never have gone forward without Randis say . Michael believes in the chain of command - now distancing from MAD is the playbook. Both he and Randi are politically motivated and thrashing to remain in power.

And that is why we must remain vigilant. Mulgrew is still on the hook for the 600 million annual health savings he idiotically promised the city.

When did Mulgrew promise that

2018

I ask because UFT allowing unvaxxes Department of Education employees to be forced out netted $700 millions for City in just 3 years and that's using the law is n the low end of salary estimates for the ones removed

When I saw his letter a few minutes ago, I just laughed. It was us who forced him to do this. The real question is why? That is teal easy to answer. He wants to take credit to hold on to power. Only our election made him see the light or should I day stats after we hit him with a four by four.

Yes absolutely. Note that he declined to meet with us all week and released this on a Sunday.

Mulgrew lives in a vacuum, a fantasy world where he is loved universally & respected non- stop. Dangerous dude- reminds me of a certain

Orange- haired Avenger running for POTUS

Yes I see that too.

Interesting, that today the official UFT FB page is allowing all comments from those of us who oppose Mulgrew! Everyone is obviously shaking in their boots!

That is interesting. I've posted there about ten times in the last week and absolutely none of my posts went up. They are shaken AND stirred, evidently.

Mulgrew reminds me of the mob bosses I met as a young woman, who had absolute power and that inability to identify with the vulnerable. He has guards. I mean, men who walk with him. Tried to talk with him as he stalked away from a Retirees’s meeting. Ended up throwing a few words at him, behind his wall of male invincibility. (And a couple of guys.) Underneath, you know he is scared.

Is it TRS? Their many, many, I mean, many, high priced trades with many, many firms. I see the Golden Fleece, for TRS/us to be mobbed up, right there. If so, interesting FBI interface. “Run, Mulgrew, run!”

I agree he's afraid. He's got a whole lot of reason to be. Those RTC meetings were excruciating, and designed only to keep us from speaking out. Well, we now see how that worked out for them.

Thank you Arthur Goldstein. Your many efforts helped make for this victory.

Shouldn't every victory be used as an inspiration to go further. And when a vicious foe turns tail and retreats isn't that the time to go after him and finish him off, here by voting Mulgrew out of office, demanding an investigation of the Stablization Fund's use of funds, demand that the MLC drop its support of Medicare Asdvantage, MLC & Mulgrew pressure the City to drop its lawsuits, - oh heck Mulgrew should resign now.

Didn't Weingarten, at the recent meeting, say that she spoke to Mulgrew very ioften before all this happened? Then she should oppose his re-election and explain why only now she hears retirees? Even then, why should anyone have ever trusted her?

Thanks for your kind words. I'm very proud to be part of this movement, and you're absolutely right that this is an inspiration to go further.

If we can do this, we can do more.

Arthur can you attend the hearing tomorrow at City Hall for unvaccinated teachers still shut out of DoE? 6/24 1pm Civil Service and Labor hearing? We are going to speak about what DoE did and is still doing to us. Diane

All unvaccinated DOE pushed out are over 40, many over 50.
