The very existence of Unity is uncivil.

I'm not sure I'd go that far. The fact that they are an elite, invitation-only group that is treated better than the rest of us, and that they demand unquestioning faith as though they were deities...that's kind of uncivil, to say the least.

Excellent! The Unity caucus has been trying to redefine a lot of things -- including the word "civility." Thank you for being such a strong advocate for our lives, Labor, as well as the English language that you love and teach.

Unity loves to be uncivil when it suits them. I guess they thought someone like me would no longer be around from when I was praised after writing an article published in NY Teacher when a district I was in planned to introduce a religious prayer and I publicly swore civil disobedience circa the early 1990s. The district never implemented the prayer when others planned to join me. Gee, being uncivil was good then as long as they agreed. But I did learn one thing from those ancient days— being uncivil does work.

Wow. Congrats on your achievement. Being uncivil can be purposeful, but even as we battle for our health care, Unity criticizes our behavior. It's kind of crazy, because Mulgrew too claims to oppose MA. The issue is he's done absolutely nothing to save Medicare. Instead, we work with Marianne, and they criticize us for that.

Mulgrew is finding it difficult being on both sides at the same time. If he cannot make the right choice, we will do it for him next May.
