Thanks so much Arthur. There's always logical reasons why good things don't happen, and people deserve to know them.
Besides how Unity leaders are determined to implement harmful measures on us for their own easy negotiations and cash flow - there are key RTC leaders who've chosen a cozy version of activism and have used all kinds of excuses not to defend us from Unity. It's important to connect how crucial efforts, including yours, Arthur, to save our benefits got quashed, and continue to get undermined
YAY to those who tell it like it is! YAY to those who want to know! YAY to anyone who feels our benefits deserve an honest fight! #FixRetireeBenefits
Love the grsphic and your message. Mulgrew has Fisher under his thumb...it's too bad. what a lost opportunity. In the meantime RTC continues to do nothing. Glad you took the initiative, Arthur. Present the signatures. We will support you.
Thanks Maggie. We think in service folks will be shocked by this and sign in droves. Our union is large and ought to be able to pull of what other unions can.
Arthur "Illegitimi non carborundum" or for the particular "Ne terant te spurii" I admire your courage in continuing the good fight and while it can seem as if you are fighting the tide, I think quietly you are rallying the best thing in people. Perhaps, in the future, you might add more reasons to hope for some victories at this dark time in history, like Debs when, facing years of imprisonment, he said at the end of his most famous speech:
"When the mariner, sailing over tropic seas, looks for relief from his weary watch, he turns his eyes toward the southern cross, burning luridly above the tempest-vexed ocean. As the midnight approaches, the southern cross begins to bend, and the whirling worlds change their places, and with starry finger-points the Almighty marks the passage of time upon the dial of the universe, and though no bell may beat the glad tidings, the lookout knows that the midnight is passing and that relief and rest are close at hand.
Let the people everywhere take heart and hope everywhere, for the cross is bending, the midnight is passing, and joy cometh with the morning."

Thanks for your kind words Laura. I appreciate you.

Thank you Arthur! We need that legislative bill of 1096 like we need air to breathe.
Thanks Kathy. I couldn't agree more.
Mulgrew, once again, took over
our RTC meeting for a lengthy time. Meeting decoyed anything moving forward.
He did that, and wasted our time. His friends wasted the rest. RTC leadership showed a lack of foresight, once again.
Also, members ranted and didn’t clearly state the question. Zoom online people were never
“called upon” during Q&A
for Mulgrew.
To which question are you referring?

I love that message, Alan. Thank you for that, and thanks for your kind words as well.
I was referring to the Q&A for Bennett. Some people ranted without posing a clear question.
I noticed that too.
Absolutely getting nothing done. The only thing accomplished is once a month we die for 2 hours. mea
You know, you'd think if we were going to do nothing, we could at least get it done more quickly.
