I say a prayer everyday for the saving of all Retirees healthcare and in service employees as well. Sometime it feels like all of us are spitting into the wind. But I’d rather keep on bobbing my head side to side than give into the Unity pulpit of Bullies which include the MLC and the Mayor and even NYC Council members. Thank you again Arthur. Please keep doing what you and the Retired elected officers are doing and we will all stand strong against all who condescend. ❤️🌼
Thank you for another passionate article in behalf retirees being treated fairly. Please keep hammering the facade that Mulgrew hides behind with his oily lies and evasions. It may not be readily apparent but I think that facade is beginning to show more and more cracks. Hopefully, by May, enough UFT members will see that Mulgrew's alliance with Adams should end his tenure with the UFT and forces him to overtly find employment in the Adams' administration.
Thanks for your kind words. And despite whatever misgivings we may have about Mulgrew, it's quite thoughtful of him to keep handing me material on a silver platter. I'm not sure, though, about his future with the Adams administration, which could fall well before Mulgrew's patronage cult.

Arthur, your columns give me hope that change is possible!
Thanks. I take that as a great compliment, and that is certainly my intent.
Morning, Arthur
Please note, that's my Work-Bites.com piece you're kindly referencing--not City & State!
Best!
Please forgive me. I have corrected it. And I love your piece!
Isn’t Randi Weingarten a retiree? While she is saving democracy for America maybe she can save democracy for her fellow retirees.
Just between us, I don't see her as our great hope.
That is a shame and a sham.
