Amy the research is clear. Frank was good enough to be the alternate for Kazansky if something happen to him when he last ran, so why would he not be good enough to take over from him now? In fact he was good enough to be the replacement for Mel, Sandy, Debbie and David. This is our pensions on the line. The best and most experienced person should have the job. The failure to nominate Frank has now encouraged others to run because their experience can match or exceed the Unity candidate. That would not have been the case had Frank been nominated.
If we applied the same rules we demand in our schools then Frank should be the person. Who has the most experience? Who has the most qualified? And who has the most seniority? Arthur’s point is totally valid. Playing politics with our pension system is not looking out for the members best interests.
Christina has a, "whopping two years of being a pension consultant..." While Christina has been working full time for the pension department for a little over two years, she was a consultant in her borough, just like me for way longer than that. We worked together during Covid and she was one of the consultants that worked with TRS to get all the forms online so that members could retire without the extra stress of how the forms would get to TRS. Intimating that she has little experience is incorrect.
All the pension systems updated their functionality during Covid pandemic when people were home and couldn’t go in person. To say that a person’s qualifications for being a trustee that she told people when she worked part-time, how to get forms that TRS made available on their own website makes her the BEST candidate for the trustee job is insulting to the members. This is precisely the problem, political operatives making spurious statements and expecting people to buy them without question.
Frank is the most qualified person to be Trustee and no one will come on here and explain to the members why he is not or why Christina is better qualified. The members deserve the best and only the best.

Arthur, before disparaging Christina’s lack of experience, please do your research…
Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

This is pure nonsense.

Frank surely worked part time too before getting a full time job. I stand by the post.
