The number one priority is voting, which our overwhelming majority can't be bothered with. However, leadership's attack on the health care of retirees, and soon in-service members, will motivate people a little bit more. I think leadership knows this, but are locked into the idiotic MLC givebacks, so can't do much about it.
One more thing a better UFT would do...a better UFT would not allow our pension to be invested into private equity funds. This has happened, and pension funds have been lost. Pension money should not be placed into risky investments, a better UFT would see to that.
