On target, Arthur. Maybe they need to test the reading comprehension of some of the retirees that simply don't understand that Marianne is HELPING us. These poor misguided souls...it's disheartening.
Thanks Maggie. Upton Sinclair said, "It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it." Goes for women as well.
As we battled to retain Medicare, he called us enemies of the union. He said we spouted conspiracy theories and fairy tales. He had his patronage cult accusing us of misinformation. When he lost the chapter he never apologized, just leaving it all out there. And he continued, continues to oppose our efforts to protect ourselves. He gets up, repeatedly, and lies to us about 1096 being a violation of the Taylor Law. So yes, you're right. And your description is kind of generous.
TY-TY-TY Arthur! What a piece! -and what a crazy odd time indeed -- when, unless (and more often despite) loudly holding our key UFT unionists' feet under fire, they've shamelessly -even secretly- worked against us.
Arthur, I really appreciate your commentary. I want to point out that the Labor Solidarity Project is not RA. It is an independent group. I publish the newsletter for project and I make a point in including any actions that push for deeper solidarity. For example, in the last newsletter your petition is linked.
Thank you Scott. Sheila posted this on the Retiree Advocate Board and identified herself as Labor Solidarity Project. Our work was appropriated and misrepresented in the name of your group. Is that okay with you?
Arthur—
You've once again, made a very lucid case… So clear that even a double-dipping Unity hack should be able to understand it, but you never know…

Thanks Glenn. And you're right, I never know.

WBAI- All 5 (including Daniel) did an A+ job! Solidarity is what happened among 3 vital organizations!
Randi answered letter re paras with definition & grace! Hope it continues!
I also liked her answer. Mulgrew's not so much. This is an emergency, and he doesn't appear to get it.
He is opaque & seemingly unable to listen.

Thanks for your kind words, Patrick.

It's what they do, unfortunately. Our welfare is not a priority--only their control.
Arthur,
I's pretty pathetic that our own chapter does not acknowledge Marianne & NYCOPS
According to Ben Fisher RTC - "When we exercise our activism muscles, we prepare ourselves to fight anything." B. Fisher
Too bad NO ONE form RTC was present at City Hall last week.
All BS
Thanks,
mea
True. So many Starbucks, so little time. Why bother following up on what voters elected you to do?
