Thanks so much to the both of you. I am so glad to have Marriane fighting for us. How dare the UFT say no outsiders can talk to us or have influence. Are they crazy?

They are desperate, I'd say. Not only is it insane and unenforceable, but it reminds everyone that NYC Retirees are out there doing the work we PAY Mulgrew and BFFs to do.

Blessed to have you guys fighting for us! Without my secondary coverage which I worked and contributed to for 33 yrs,I would be in trouble , most likely not here anymore.

As a Nassau County retiree who is also fighting to maintain our healthcare that we retired with I am so thankful that NYC led the way in this fight. I have learned so much from Marriane.

As have we all. I had no idea this was going on in Nassau as well. I have friends who taught here, but while they made more money than we ever did, they didn't get the same retirement benefits we did. Of course, they didn't work for the county, but for municipalities.
